    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    New Business Development
    • Identify growth opportunities, forge and develop relationships to enable continued rapid growth of Game Pill

    The Technical Artist will help the team primarily with rigging and skinning of 3D assets.  The ideal candidate should have a firm understanding of skin weighting, skeleton creation, facial bone rig creation, and importing skeletons into a game engine.  The Technical Artist will work closely with stakeholders to ensure technical limitations are respected while maintaining quality.

    What You Will Do:
    • Work in close-collaboration with Designers and Modelers as a team to rig and skin character, environment, and vehicle 3D assets;
    • Understand the game setting and create credible characters and objects that fit within the universe and story, study the creative and artistic documents to understand the characters and world setting;
    • Work with animators, programmers, the game designer and the project manager to understand the scope of design intentions, constraints and deadlines
    • Work with Motion Capture data if required and be willing to implement it cleanly into a specified game engine.
    • Create and integrate characters as dictated by technical constraints. Be open to iteration and exploration on demos or prototypes;
    • Work inside a specified game engine to ensure all rigging and skinning is clean and conforms to the technical specifications;

    The Art Director is responsible for the quality and critical success of each individual project under their supervision.     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The role will work under supervision to create electronic graphic materials.

    This individual will use knowledge of specialized design concepts, media, and software tools to develop comprehensive UI, UX, logos and layouts for games, websites, marketing materials, etc.

    JOB DUTIES
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, UI/UX manager, game design, art director and engineering to define, design and implement innovative solutions;
    • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and UI/UX prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas;
    • Determine potential problem spaces and lead design solutions rooted in player data (quantitative and qualitative);
    • Design and generate fully interactive prototypes for client presentations, mock-ups, as well as user-testing studies.
    • Create production ready UX wireframes, collaborating effectively with game design and art, to visually represent game design intentions with a quality visual aesthetic;
    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • 2+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer in the games industry (or a related interactive industry);
    • 2+ years of experience as a graphic designer in the games industry (or a related interactive industry);
    • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
    • Proficiency in multiple design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Axure, Sketch, Zeplin, Flinto, and/or Proto io etc...);
    • Ability to give and receive feedback in a professional manner;
    • Up-to-date knowledge with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technology;
    • Experience creating animated mockups of UI flows and transition-prototypes;
    • Motion Graphics and/or After Effects knowledge a plus;

    • Seek out new studio opportunities (partnerships, co-development, etc)
    • Identify, co-ordinate, launch and measure marketing channels (example: YouTube video ads, sponsored LinkedIn posts, Instagram ads, etc.)
    • Create influencer campaigns including identifying the affiliate system, affiliates and measuring results.
    • Attend seminars, events, and talks that align with company goals
    • Work with business leaders to develop an event strategy (where are we going), outreach strategy (who are we contacting, when and how) and social strategy (what are we posting, on what platform, and when)
